On these types of excursions, we discover that Alicante is not just sun and sea. Within the province, there is great diversity, and each locality has its own incredible natural resources. On this excursion, we will first visit the Algar Springs, a natural area located 15 km from Benidorm where the route converges along approximately 1.5 km of the Algar River course, forming waterfalls and natural pools through gorges with Mediterranean vegetation, a unique space in the Valencian Community. Our next stop will be in the municipality of Guadalest, which is located in a beautiful valley and is bordered by the highest peaks in the province. It’s worth noting that, in addition to its historical ensemble and castle, it has been declared a Site of Cultural Interest. You’ll also have the opportunity to buy local products to take home or give as gifts to your family, such as denomination of origin honey.
